Plant Health Care Systems of South Florida brings experience, knowledge and a personal touch to home lawn maintenance with the addition of Eric Shroyer to its team

 

MIAMI, Fla. – April 29, 2015 – Plant Health Care Systems of South Florida (PHCS), which is owned and operated by two South Florida natives and longtime green industry experts, is the first and only high-end lawn spray and plant healthcare company of its kind in South Florida.  Serving more than 300 homes from the upper Keys and Ocean Reef to South Broward, PHCS has seen a steady growth in business since its launch in early 2013.  Their steady growth has come strictly from referrals as word of their quality of work and outstanding results has spread.

 

With the growing number of high-end homes to the area there has been a need for an innovative plant and lawn care service that appreciates the demands of the unique environment of South Florida.  In response to that need PHCS was created.  With their recent increase in growth, the company has added local industry veteran Eric Shroyer to its team of lawn care experts.

 

Shroyer brings a wealth of experience in horticulture, maintenance, and quality control to PHCS. Most well known for his work at some of South Florida’s most visited tourist destinations, Shroyer was a horticulturalist for palms and cycads at the Montgomery Botanical Center, an extension of Fairchild Tropical Gardens, and was also the director of horticulture at Monkey Jungle.  He joins PHCS from a large-scale landscape and maintenance company where he was the maintenance manager and certified pest control operator.

 

“Eric is the perfect addition to our team,” said Keith Weyrick, PHCS founder and co-owner. “He has a tremendous knowledge of palms and cycads, which is crucial to a proper maintenance program here in South Florida. He is able to look at properties from a different perspective to provide a smart, cohesive and well-rounded lawn and plant healthcare program for our clients.”

 

Partners Keith Weyrick and Ian Maguire, who have 60 years of combined experience working South Florida’s green industry, founded PHCS to bring a new approach to the luxury lawn maintenance service. Their unique program is designed to give each client an individual treatment program based on insect or disease issues.
